Minimum of 30 awardees

Value :

This scholarship will contribute towards tuition fees and other course related costs.

Purpose :

The purpose of this scholarship is to support tauira studying the following clinical health programmes at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi:

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Mental Health and Addiction Counselling (Level 8) or
  • Te Ōhanga Mataora: Bachelor of Health Sciences Māori Nursing
Eligibility :

Applicants for the scholarship must be enrolled or plan to enrol in the above programmes with a commitment to contributing to Māori Health

Criteria :

Recipients will be selected on the following criteria:

  • • Must be enrolled or plan to enrol in the above programmes at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi;
    • Demonstrate a commitment to Māori health;
    • Whakapapa Māori;
    • Participate in Te Rau Wānanga support activities
Submission of Scholarship Application :

Application form must be submitted online through Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi website by 4.30 pm, Friday 20th March 2026
