This is partnership scholarship and is administered separately from those managed by the Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi Scholarships committee. Please read the information carefully and for any enquiries, please contact the specified partner.
Minimum of 30 awardees
This scholarship will contribute towards tuition fees and other course related costs.
The purpose of this scholarship is to support tauira studying the following clinical health programmes at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Mental Health and Addiction Counselling (Level 8) or
- Te Ōhanga Mataora: Bachelor of Health Sciences Māori Nursing
Applicants for the scholarship must be enrolled or plan to enrol in the above programmes with a commitment to contributing to Māori Health
Recipients will be selected on the following criteria:
- • Must be enrolled or plan to enrol in the above programmes at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi;
• Demonstrate a commitment to Māori health;
• Whakapapa Māori;
• Participate in Te Rau Wānanga support activities
