As Co-ordinator – Marketing and Content, you will design and execute creative marketing strategies and campaigns, support events, and produce compelling content across online, print, and social media channels. You’ll create materials in both static and video formats, contributing to an inclusive, safe environment that champions equal opportunity and quality education.

Candidates must have:

·        A relevant degree or comparable professional experience.

·        A valid, unrestricted private motor vehicle license is also mandatory.

·        Previous experience in marketing positions that closely align with the responsibilities outlined.

·        A strong skill set in social media planning and knowledge of digital platforms is essential, as it will enable effective engagement with various audiences and support the promotion of the Wānanga across multiple channels.

·       The ability to travel to attend marketing and promotional events, for which notice will be given.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate skills and expertise:

·       Expertise in video production, including both filming and editing, to create compelling visual content.

·       Proficiency in using InDesign for publishing materials in both print and online formats is required for producing high-quality promotional and informational resources.

Candidates are expected to possess:

·        Intermediate-level skills in Te Reo Māori and a solid understanding of Tikanga Māori, particularly in the context of kaupapa Māori and tertiary education. This knowledge is important for creating culturally relevant and respectful content.

·       Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary for daily operations and communications.

·       Familiarity with databases for analytics and experience with social media tools will also be advantageous, supporting the measurement and optimisation of marketing activities.
